The Tabernacle of Moses

This course is a detailed study concerning the meaning and typical teachings of all the various parts of the Tabernacle with consideration to its construction, structure, furniture, and arrangement. Students will discover how the Tabernacle was designed and patterned by God to present Jesus Christ.

Goals & Objectives

To enable the student :

  • to gain proper understanding of God’s redemptive plan through a study of the Tabernacle
  • to understand how the Tabernacle informs sinful people about the holiness of God
  • to gain knowledge of how the Tabernacle is foundational to an understanding of Christ’s fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan
  • to understand how the Tabernacle demonstrates God rightfully manifesting His grace and mercy to sinful man
  • to develop a general understanding of the duties and the functions of the priests, giving students a better understanding of the role of Christ in the lives of believers
  • to obtain a better understanding of the Tabernacle so that students will better understand the book of Hebrews as well as other portions of the New Testament
  • to discover Jesus Christ in every part, element, and furnishing of the Tabernacle
