Core Strategies for Spiritual Formation
In the three New Testament books known as the “Pastoral Epistles”, the Apostle Paul challenges Timothy and Titus to discipline themselves for effective Kingdom ministry. He taught that the mind, the emotions, the mouth, and the will must be submitted consistently under the harness of Holy Spirit. He taught these two younger ministers to navigate relational challenges that arise in churches. Using the inspired teachings of I and II Timothy and Titus and the commentary To Guard the Deposit (Preaching the Word Commentary), this course will equip students to understand the high level of excellence that God requires from and empowers within all His servants.
