The Kingdom of God

Six weeks
Syllabus

This course is designed to expose the weakness of the powerless traditional church model and to reveal the power of the Ekklesia to advance the Kingdom of God. Jesus did not teach how to increase church attendance, but all of His sermons and teachings were directed toward the advancement of the Kingdom of God. He chose the Ekklesia, not the powerless traditional church, to release into His disciples the Kingdom of God and the authority to turn ancient culture upside down. Today, more than ever, we need to prioritize the Kingdom of God and build the Ekklesia as a way of life. This class will present the biblical foundation for the Kingdom of God and provide ways that modern-day believers can replicate the Ekklesia, based on the teaching of Christ and the model given in the book of Acts. Along with a full understanding of the Kingdom of God, students will learn how to recognize the difference between traditional church and the Ekklesia.
