The Life & Ministry of Jesus I

Jesus is the central figure of both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Life and Ministry of Jesus will focus on the life of our Lord Jesus Christ as an example for Christians to emulate. The course will examine some of the events of His life and the markings of His ministry. Students will examine the four gospels, which are the primary biblical source of Jesus and His ministry. Jesus is God in the flesh and was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel to reaffirm the Abrahamic Covenant and to bring a New and better Covenant to man. This study will also include a basic description of the Jewish Jesus and the importance of understating His role as a rabbi, then and now.
