Elisha: The God-Touched Life, Part I
In this course, KINEO students will study the life of the Prophet Elisha for seven sessions in order to learn valuable Kingdom Leadership and servant-ministry principles. Elisha’s life is a study of what it looks like for a surrendered believer to operate in the supernatural, anointed power of God. Initiated with a call from Elijah for Elisha to leave his family’s business, Elisha’s ministry began as an understudy of Israel’s great prophet, Elijah. After receiving a double portion of the anointing that rested upon Elijah, the ministry of Elisha contained numerous stunning miracles. Theses first seven weeks of studying Elisha’s life and ministry place heavy emphasis upon his initial calling and training, his miracles over illness and infirmity, miracles over nature, and becoming an instrument of miraculous supply in times of need.
Goals & Objectives
KINEO students will learn from studying Elisha’s life that God often chooses unsuspecting people for great Kingdom purposes—and God expects them to answer His call. From there the student will learn about what spiritual promotion looks like in the Kingdom as Elisha spends years as a helper and humble servant to Elijah. This course will begin to equip current and future leaders to understand how to wait on God’s timing, why we should expect and ask for great things form God, how to minister in spiritual discernment and power, and how to be a vessel of God’s glory in our own generation. Elisha’s simple approach, calm faith, and anointing with power will call each KINEO student into a higher realm that goes beyond human ingenuity, natural gifting, and practical experience. Elisha’s testimony will cause each student to long for the God-touched life.
