Components of Biblical Worship
Worship is far more than tuned instruments and on-key voices. Worship is actually the entire context for the Christian’s life. When Scripture calls us to do all things as unto the Lord, and for His glory, we find ourselves entering a life that requires wisdom, guidance, and deeper understanding. For those who treasure expressions of worship through music and voice, we should glean from the Word the most essential matters that help us to encounter the greatness of God as individuals, families, and churches.
Goals & Objectives
KINEO students will be equipped and challenged to worship God with the mind as we think about why and how we express our worship. Additionally, students will be equipped to diagnose their own hearts to see if worship has become a dry exercise or fleshly display that is lacking meaning and joyful reverence of God. Students will be taught to consider WHAT we are singing, and having the WHAT of our songs connect to the WHY and advance the excellence of HOW we worship in music and lyrics.
