Transformational Church: Antioch - CHHI 4305
Most discerning Christians know that something is clearly wrong with the AmericanChurch model. Yet, do we understand what it is that is amiss, and why it is so? More importantly, do we discern what it will take to fix the foundational problems with howChristianity is represented to the world in the American Church? God established a model for church government, church mission, and church leadership in the New Testament. The vast majority of American churches have either been ignorant of these divine blueprints, or they have intentionally ignored them, choosing instead to model churches after a lesser source of pragmatism or business models. When churches return to the apostolic model chronicled in the Book of Acts and described in the epistles of Paul (primarily in Ephesians 4:11-16), churches will become transformational in whatever cities they are planted.

Components of Biblical Worship - BIBL 4302
Worship is far more than tuned instruments and on-key voices. Worship is actually the entire context for the Christian’s life. When Scripture calls us to do all things as unto the Lord, and for His glory, we find ourselves entering a life that requires wisdom, guidance, and deeper understanding. For those who treasure expressions of worship through music and voice, we should glean from the Word the most essential matters that help us to encounter the greatness of God as individuals, families, and churches. KINEO students will be equipped and challenged to worshipGod with the mind as we think about why and how we express our worship.Additionally, students will be equipped to diagnose their own hearts to see if worship has become a dry exercise or fleshly display that is lacking meaning and joyful reverence of God.

The God-Touched Life: Elisha (Part I) - CLED 4303
The life of the Old Testament prophet, Elisha, is a study of what it looks like for a surrendered believer to operate in the supernatural, anointed power of God. Elisha’s ministry began as an understudy of Elijah. After receiving a double portion of the anointing that rested upon Elijah, the ministry of Elisha contained stunning miracles. These first seven weeks of studying Elisha’s life and ministry place heavy emphasis upon his initial calling and training, his miracles over illness and infirmity, miracles over nature, and becoming an instrument of miraculous supply in times of need.

Discerning the Days: Elisha (Part II) - CLED 4304
In the second set of the 14-week study on the Life of Elisha, we will learn much about the gift of the word of knowledge. Though Elisha flowed in supernatural healing and miraculous power over nature, the predominant gift that spanned his entire ministry was the word of knowledge (see 1 Corinthians 12:8). Elisha’s ministry also is seen to create an intersection between God’s Kingdom and the kingdom of man (culture, government, military). The Life of Elisha helps us all to discern the days in which we are presently living, and it empowers us to live and serve as those through whom God desires to manifest His power to an unbelieving world.
