Second year students receive a Diploma of Advanced Biblical Studies (Dip. ABS). With a proven understanding of their position in Christ, students are further trained in Biblical theology, through a combination of academic instruciton and practical ministry. The student is encouraged at this level to have a more active involvement in the local church and to seek ministry opportunities outside the local church to perfect ministerial skills while remaining in a supervised environment.

Old Testament Survey - BIBL 2301
An introduction to the authorship and contents of the Old Testament books. Special attention will be given to important persons, places and events, as well as to key chapters in the Old Testament revelation. This course will survey the literature, events, and message of the Old Testament, including the organization, historical context, and basic geography of the Old Testament. The student will also be exposed to the foundation that the Old Testament lays for the New Testament and how the promise of the coming Messiah sets the stage for the New Testament.
